Faculty International Experience
In November, 2002, IPANR was requested to assemble a brief compendium of UTIA
faculty international experiences over the past decade. The format for presenting
the information was the work of a THEC committee reviewing international agriculture
programs at state universities in Tennessee. Committee members were: Dr. Jack
Britt, former vice president of the UTIA; Dr. Jim Byford of UT Martin; and Dr. Troy
Wakefield of Tennessee State University.
The document presented here (updated in December, 2006) is intended
to have a future orientation, meaning that it should be useful for
anyone wanting to do something in the countries that are listed.
Its purpose is not to list all international activity, but to list
international experiences of faculty members over the past ten years
in which professional contacts within the countries visited have
been maintained. As this listing is for professional development,
we have not listed travel for short international meeting attendance,
vacation, or other personal travel .
Is this listing complete? We have no doubt that it is not. Please e-mail us
at rorr@utk.edu to update/correct
our listing. We hope that the listing will be useful to you.
Data are sorted two ways on pdf files: by
country and by
faculty
