University housing at the University of the West Indies, or UWI, as
we came to know it. Rex Nettleford Hall was the newest on campus, and each
student had a single room ,with shared baths. As Spring semester had
just ended, the girls had the downstairs hallway to themselves; the boys,
the upstairs.
