The students shared a common area which included a kitchen, complete with a refrigerator. A grocery store located on campus, just a few minutes' walk from the dorm, was very handy, and a popular destination after dinner. The students must have been stocking up on fruit juices. Also in the complex was a computer lab, which we used to keep up on our e-mail. The dorm director extended the usual summer hours so that the UT group could have access to the lab after dinner. |
