On our way out of Ocho Rios, we drive through the famous Fern Gully.  The sun occasionally penetrates the fern canopy, as it did momentarily for this photo.   Over 500 species of tropical ferns inhabit the four-mile stretch.  A great place on a hot day; the temperature is considerably cooler in the Gully than on the coast, which is only four miles away.
