The setting of KU's Tab Kwang Swine Research Station is
simple and rural--miles off the main highway at the base of the limestone
mountains that mark the transition to the Korat Plateau. It is a
special place that UT students enjoy for the natural beauty of the
surroundings, for the fun they have there and for the peaceful feeling of
rural life that pervades the station. Dr. Mark said, "It's like going
back in time, like when I was a child growing up on a farm" [or something like
that].
