That afternoon, we visited Chia Thai Seed Company. Of
course, one of Dr. Lop's former students conducted the tour of the facility
for us. Chia Thai was the first company in what has today become a
giant agricultural conglomerate, CP Group. This was the first of
several CP Group businesses we would visit.
